I've been having some great discussions with a friend of mine who's been proactive at suggesting that all her friends read "How to Take Smart Notes", a book by Sönke Ahrens. The book has been pretty sureful for myself just as I've finished up the first 2 chapters, but my friend has taken things once step further to create a cool group chat specifically to talk about note taking apps, and ways of sharing knowledge between local communities. The end result of this discussion was bringing up online, community-based knowledge bases, and some cool apps that already provide a framework for that.

One of these online note-taking apps is Logseq, a program that I quite frankly don't know enough about to write about confidently yet, but as I use it I'll fill in more details here.
